What about:
Humberside Grim, after the local legend.
Teesside Count Drakula, as its the nearest to Whitby.
Norwich Lord Nelson, although the Partridge idea is better.
East Midlands Sheriff of Nottingham, to rival Robin Hood airport.
Glasgow James Doohan, for the famous engineer.
Leeds-Bradford Patrick Stewart, for the famous captain.
Doncaster Arkwright, after the corner shop.
Manchester Norris, after the best Corrie character.

But Captain Picard is from Mirfield (which fittingly has the station code MIR, after the Soviet era space station)...
We're lucky that LBA wasn't renamed Jimmy Savile International shortly before his, ahem, skeletons were released from his closet...
