Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone could remember a website made last year that you could plan a train journey in and it would create a train crew schedule card style PDF based on your journey plan.
Remember it being popular last year and only just remembered it existed, no idea if it's still around. If it is and someone knows the link that'd be brilliant.

Cheeeeeeers.

To store the itinerary of a trip, I use www.tripit.com

You create an account and then forward the email with the confirmation of the booking to them. It then extracts the details of the booking and puts it into an itinerary. Its an American site, so it has good coverage for the main airlines, hotel chains and train companies. It doesn't always pick up the details for smaller companies.

You can also add in steps manually, although the default time zone is for California, so you need to be careful, or you could end up with those steps out by 8 hours.

You can then print a PDF of the itinerary, or access it from the app. It shows you the details of the step at that time, and shows the booking information, links to Google Maps etc.

I find it helps, to collect the booking information into one place, and to make sure that I have booked everything in the right order and on the correct day.

Wanderlog is a great tool as well, but is map-based, unlike TripIt, which is quite different
