It was set up in 2015.

Transport for Wales is a company wholly owned by the Welsh Government, which will provide advice and support on the procurement on the next Wales & Borders franchise and South Wales Metro infrastructure.

Thanks. I'd actually found exactly the same eventbright page earlier through a quick google.

My query is around:

- What has it done to date?
- Who are it's staff and where did they come from? (gut says WG secondment)
- What is it's budget
- What are it's future plans.

The Welsh Economy Minister announced in July following a planted question that Transport for Wales will be based in the Valleys (which lets be honest is a big geographic area) but other than that there is absolutely nothing out there about this organisation which is at least a year old now.

Transport for Wales
The previous Welsh Government created a not-for-dividend company called Transport for Wales. Not much has been published about Transport for Wales to date. At a committee meeting of the previous Enterprise and Business, the previous Minister for Economy, Science and Transport said it is expected that the company will ‘act like Transport for London’.
It will be the over-arching strategic body for transport which offers concessions to companies wishing to deliver transport services and infrastructure, including rail, in Wales. As such it is expected to lead on the procurement of the next Welsh rail franchise, the South Wales Metro and the Valley Lines concession.
