I used to think that before I moved to TC3 which is so much more stable (though content is limited). Currently I use TS09, which isn't the best, but is still better than TRS06 in my opinion.

The DLS is where you'll find most of that.
I'm not too sure on trams, but you'll find D stock
here (with links to the DLS to get it), and you'll find some C stock which has just been made on the TPR Download site, you should be able to find it if you search for the user 'bird_d00'.
- You know when you drive through tunnels in external view you get a heads up view-how do you do that normally?
The only way I'm aware of is with certain stock (such as the Mk2s by peterdhicks), where you can use the cab view and scroll through the views to ones which are on the roof. I'm not sure if there's many other assets that have this though.
