Train simulator route building question

Morning,

When I try to play my train simulator route, there is a limit on how many times I can switch loco. I want to be able to use different locos for different things, so is there any way of getting rid of this?

Is this train simulator classic?
If it is and you have set up a free roam there aren’t any limits and you should be be able to swap to any driver enabled loco at will.

The locos need to be driver enabled though, with a little driver icon above them.

I’m still getting the same problem - I think it starts about 5 minutes in - anyone know a setting to change this?

Just to confirm, this is on Train Simulator Classic on a Free Roam scenario where all applicable locos and multiple-units have been driver-enabled (all have the Driver icon above them in the scenario editor)?
Can you describe what happens after your "5 minutes in" when you try to change loco?

Can confirm all that.

After 5 minutes, i can no longer simply change which loco I am using by clicking on the loco I have chosen. It is indeed driver enabled.

Hm, that is weird. Does the cursor still change from the arrow to the "pick this loco?" image?

No, it doesn’t.
