Is there a way to find out what model of train is scheduled to come when looking at the timetable? I use opentraintimes.com and would like to find out when a new Class 777 is likely to come on the Merseyrail line. At the moment it seems there's a few on the West Kirby line but not many.

I wondered if there was a code on the detailed information that may say so.

Helpful to know when taking someone with a wheelchair.

Sadly no. The only capable source is 'Real Train Times' (RTT). see: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/detailed/ but sadly Merseyrail have refused to allow and show Unit allocations on there as far as I am aware, it seems they wish to keep it a secret!

The only giveaway at the moment is when a unit appears as 4 coaches rather than 3 or 6.
