tours through Doncaster area

I understand two tours are due through Doncaster area on Sat 21st, 60009 from London to York and two 37 from Newport to Beverley , tried to find times on UK and Realtimes no recordings. any info please.

Kettle tour does not appear to have been uploaded into the system yet so will not be on RTT either.

That avoiding line will be place to get an super out-of-ordinary shot, either right next to Hex Jct on pointy bit of Vee or at footbridge near Sprot road, either way anywhere will be a good result so long as you research your shot well in advance. Perhaps on banks of Don with train on mid span of lattice bridge ???? Good luck!

The steam tour times are on uksteam.info as 1252 at Swinton and then via Moorthorpe/Ferrybridge. Just enough time to get the diesels on the Doncaster avoiding line (1137 Hexthorpe) and shoot back for the steam, depending on how far from the road you are for the Hexthorpe shot, and what sort of transport you've got.

Anybody recognise themselves here (attached)! I was on the bank of the Don, looking up at the Doncaster avoiding line on Sprotborough Ings viaduct. I'd previously been round to this footbridge a little way NE on the avoiding line and discounted the shot as it was too much into the sun and you couldn't see the viaducts. Then I noticed three figures hanging round in the far distance!

Luckily the Beverley Humber tour with the three 37s was close enough to time for me to walk back up to the main road, bus to Conisborough, walk down to the station, train to Swinton and walk to the bridge N of Swinton just in time for Union of South Africa to shoot through towards Moorthorpe. Nice when a plan comes together.
