Agree on Bakerloo, it's far more likely and does far more for Londoners themselves (all these schemes really benefit Home Counties people more historically - and they shouldn't) - and supports home-building, place-making and intensification. We shouldn't have big box zones like that less than 2 miles from Central London! It should be dense and vibrant. Lewisham itself has seen tons of this, so the route is book-ended, with NXG's connectivity in the middle, to feed the route from further south. It's a perfect project - with Central London capacity waiting and new trains begging to be ordered.
And if gets beyond Lewisham to Hayes, it does so much more - with adding Beckenham to the tube being the cherry on top.
