Quick question:
Journey is Waterloo to Petersfield, tomorrow. Freedom pass is valid up to Surbiton. A super off-peak return from Surbiton (or Boundary Zone 6) to Petersfield is “Not valid on trains timed to depart after 04:29 and before 12:01“.
Would this combination be valid on a train timed to depart Waterloo at 11:54, call at Clapham Junction at 12:02, and pass through Surbiton presumably some time around 12:15 (can’t be bothered checking but it’ll certainly be after 12:01…)?
I’d guess this’d be the same as standard split tickets and so would be valid but given that the train doesn’t call at Surbiton just wanted to double check.
