Any site that sells tickets. Just choose the kind of ticket you want (ie not Advance).

It's the "Text only" version, and it allows you to tick to see the fares you are interested in and it will list them without the AP ones getting in the way.

Interestingly, the word "Open" seems to have multiple meanings. Before ticket simplification and booking engines, it meant "valid for a month", now it appears to have more meanings including simply being a term used for any walk-on fare or a term to replace the word Anytime. How confusing.... I wonder what they consider the "open" fare(s) from York to Doncaster to be....!

Just put right now in then. You can't be sold an Advance ticket for now.

You can just set the next comparable day, so you would enter the right time of day and a weekday (if that was when you expected to go) or a saturday or sunday (if that's whne you expect to go). The time of day matters because it will affect whether it gives you the price for a peak or off-peak ticket. National Rail Enquiries will (if you click twice to get all the possible fares) show you all possible fares valid, so if you ask NRE for the fare for a time that would be off peak (about noon, for example) it will eventually give you the peak and off-peak fares. It doesn't say what the fares are, just prices, you have to select them and look down the page to check that. Fares tend to chnage once a year (I think), so if you set it for the next comparable day (for example, for tomorrow if I wanted a weekday ticket) you will almost certainly get the right price.

That won't work for all operators - EC will sell you an advance ticket for the next day until midnight (assuming there are any left). Obviously you have to be picking it up.
