Hello

Anyone know if there's any way to get hold of the software for the big operators ticket machines, particularly Ticketer.

Looks like it would be interesting to play around with perhaps?

Thanks

Ticketer is all cloud-based. So short of buying a machine and then paying the annual licence fee, probably not!!

I use the Ticketer portal in my job, and it is very interesting because it shows tickets purchased and vehicle positions in real time etc. However, in order to "play" meaningfully you need to actually have buses out there for you to watch / interact with, so you'd need access to an operator's system (which they will never in a million years give you due to commercial interests, data protection etc etc). I imagine that most other software for ticket machines will be the same. What are you hoping to be able to do with the software? Do you just want to see more about how it works, or something else?
