Hello all,

I've decided to try out this blog technology to log my trip reports in. I've just had the time to finish off the London Desperado bash report which is now on the site, and then to add my 3 day spree from this weekend when I get round to doing that.

The link is:

http://trowbridgebasher.blogspot.co.uk/

I've yet to learn how to do bold, colour text and photos, I'll get there one day!

A great read as ever, James! :D

The 171 unit you saw near Thornton Heath was probably a London Bridge-Selhurst Depot ECS move, for some reason, all the ECS moves in the morning towards Selhurst from London Bridge have to run via Tulse Hill.

The 1649 Clapham Junction-Kensington Olympia is actually booked for a 455, it starts off the diagram with the 1609 Clapham High Street-Kensington Olympia parliamentary train, then does various shuttles up and down the WLL, culminating with the 1747 Shepherds Bush-Purley service, then the unit runs empties from Purley to London Bridge to work the 1930 London Bridge-Dorking.

EDIT: Removed my double post, oops.

Thanks for the comments :D

Forgot to post that the Cleethorpes bash is now up and figured how to add photos, just got to type Sundays bash now.

And they say Skegness is boring ! I can honestly say I enjoyed the time I had in Skegness off the UKR charter than here at Cleethorpes. I even remember someone saying 'I'll never say anything bad about Skegness again!'

Next tour is the VP185's to Dereham MNR, you still going Jules?

I've never looked around Cleethorpes, got there off a 185 and straight onto a 153 to Barton!

I am going aye, recently got confirmation I have the time off so going to do a London bash to clear the last bits of the Tube I need. Or a veg at LHR, depends on the weather!

I've recently finally finished typing up the Sunday Micro Grice trip on the 14th April, was more like the mega farce! Trip reports will be dead for a bit, not much to report on at the moment.
