Well obviously Im not serious both have their own advantages just erm don't get them mixed up as the results could be as you would say ...................Shocking.

I'm abit young, but I'd pick a girl over any type of traction.

Well yeah anyone would obviously.
A man will always love his girlfriend/wife/mistress but his Car/bike/train will always have a very special place in his heart and his Sundays.

What are you? 14 now? You should be interested in girls then Fred! But take my advice, stay single. it'll save you money and a lot of hassle (I've just watched a mate getting some very sad news...)

Wow, I'd love to be on that tour! Shame it's starting at the other end of the line from me  Oh well, I might pop up to Central for a nosy if I get bored/don't have much work on (fat chance, that!)

Yeah I have seen this more than once that's probably one reason why I always say that the hobby should be at least second to the lady as it will be the only way to save you from the heartache.

...or do it the other way round. Then the only heartache is when you miss a connection due to a delay on another journey, a trepasser, technical failures...Or if you miss your favourite loco/unit/power car because of a lack of gen...Well you get the idea. Certainly saves all the moaning from the females.

Well, until you annoy your female relatives with failure to call with where you are and why you might be out somewhere for hours because you're waiting to see what produces on V49 or whatever!

There's a reason we have two hands you know...:p;)

I've been fancying doing this, but I just can't due to being put on some stupid course...<(

I like the booked 5 hour stop in Glasgow, at least there's plenty of time to do stuff up there.

Hope it all goes well for those who do it, I'll be sitting in some classroom moaning under my breath...

Obviously not hardcore enough; there's always the 'illness' excuse. Used that one countless times...

I've used that for about 6 weeks now (I am genuinely ill for that time, I was better at the weekend but back to being stupidly ill again :-x), they don't exactly believe me now...:(

I'd give them my illness if I could, but the bug refuses to leave my lungs...:-x

And I'm usually hardcore enough, just not this time...
