TfW South Wales Metro Poor Performance

I understand that in June this year TfW brought out a new timetable for the South Wales Metro enhancing a good chunk of services. However, it doesn’t seem to have gone to plan with services being regularly late and some cancelled. Below I have attached a handful to tweets showing this.

So my questions to everyone is;
1. Can the infrastructure in its current form handle the services TfW wish to provide?
2. Has TfW jumped the gun on this one and pushed for the uplift in services too soon?
3. Have TfW been overly optimistic in how much the infrastructure can currently handle, which also begs the question have they potentially been overly optimistic in what the final form of the metro network can handle?

Not 100% sure where this thread should go so feel free to move it where need be if this is the wrong place.

It messed me about yesterday.
Supposedly separate signal and trespass issues clearly didn't help.

There always seem to be issues with radical new timetables, I suspect we're in for a bumpy few weeks.

Seems like TfW haven't learnt from the Borderlands line timetable - 2-3 minute turnarounds on a lot of the services means they end up running late for the rest of the day as a result of a small hold up

It is only the second (week)day of the new timetable, if there were infrastructure issues then it's a bit early to tell whether this is a problem that would have happened whatever the timetable looked like
