Taunton Cheltenham return

Travelling Taunton Cheltenham day return this Saturday.
Seems best ticket is to split CDRs at Bristol Parkway for total fare around £18 instead of £36. Can I do better than this? Also is Cheltenham PlusBus available with CDR Bristol Parkway to Cheltenham?

Have you looked into booking in advance? You may be able to get an even cheaper fare but would be restricted to specific trains.

Splitting CDRs is the way I would do it. Plusbus would be available for Cheltenham.

Cross Country are not generous with advance fares on this route - Two singles usually work out more than day or offpeak returns. But worth a quick check.

If you are willing to change and have a slower journey FGW may offer something Taunton - Temple Meads.
