Yesterday around 9am I saw a SWR class 159 in platform 1 of reading forming a service to basingstoke, it is within my understanding that only gwr serves this route as of now, was this unit on loan to GWR?

SWR have been running a Sunday only service from Reading to Salisbury/Gillingham and Yeovil Pen Mill via Basingstoke since the May 2019 timetable change. It doesn't call at any of the intermediate stations between Reading and Basingstoke on the way.

GWR, SWR and XC all run passenger services on this route.
