Went to SVR Autumn steam gala yesterday (20 September, so not actually autumn !!!).
5mph speed limit across site of track collapse.
Visiting locos included 35006 (Merchant Navy class.); 73082 (BR 5MT 4-6-0), and NCB49 (0-6-0ST). Timetable started to go to pieces in afternoon - the presence of demonstration freight trains often seems to badly affect gala day punctualities at some lines, but local resident "Manor" 7802 sounded as if was struggling near Highley when I was there.

Actually it's linespeed over the repair, but it immediately adjacent to the restriction at sterns which is 5 mph.

Does anyone know if the SVR is operating on 3 January and if so what’s likely working and the timetable please?
