Lost in Transition, the second of two documentaries being shown on STV as part of the This is Scotland initiative, will air on the channel tonight (Monday February 23).
This is Scotland is a new talent initiative run by the Scottish Documentary Institute (SDI) in association with Creative Scotland, offering upcoming filmmakers the chance to produce a documentary, working closely with SDI, and have their work broadcast in peak time on STV.
And tonight audiences will get the chance to see Jack Warrenders piece, Lost in Transition.
How much can you tell about a city from its Lost Property Office?
This is the question Jack poses in the documentary, which examines the stories behind personal possessions, both lost and found.
Born in Girvan, Ayrshire, Jack grew up on a sheep farm in the Stinchar valley, before gaining experience in the movie industry when he worked as a runner on a Bollywood film set in India.
Returning to the UK, he then took up work as a video operator, and in the space of ten years worked on over 20 feature films, from The Young Victoria to Gravity.
Though exciting and successful work, Jack had a desire to be more creatively challenged and left his job to take up a place at the National Film & Television School.
Now you can see his work on Lost in Transition, which airs on STV at 8pm on Monday February 23.
