Im curious... yesterday I saw and rode on my last Metroplitan Line set.... 21101 / 21102
Looking back though my posts I believe it had been stopped for over a year after coming back into service this week. I half expected to see some sort of visible overhauled parts on the set but I could not see anything obvious. My question is really can anyone shed light on why it was stopped for so long? Would it have just been waiting on parts? Thanks in advance.
