How do you book a seat on a specific train with an ALR?

When I went to the ticket office to buy the rover, I had about 6 trains that I'd worked out I might need a reservation for, so I done them at the same time. Mainly Cross Country and an early morning departure on Grand Central from London Kings Cross.

The ticket was £509.50 with a Senior rail card but all that free tea helped offset the cost. :D
I prebooked my accommodation.
Rhyl B&B
B&B in Exmouth. A place I'd used before.
Premier Inn, Glasgow and Stockport. With Breakfast they were about £70 a night each.
Two nights at home but early starts.
