Stansted Airport to Elsenham problems

Something odd is going on with the TOC websites (at least with EC & NXEA)

Inputting Stansted Airport to Elsenham only get 3 results for the entire day, all via Audley End priced £2.40. (Which is handy if you are going to Audley End as you save £1.70)

Adding "via Stansted Mountfitchet" the websites "chuck a wobbly" and give an error screen. :roll:

There are plenty of trains Stansted Airport to Mountfitchet & Mountfitchet to Elsenham.

Any ideas whats happening here?

National Rail meanwhile gives you routing via Bishops Stortford- which I don't think is technically valid unless an easement exists. Is the problem that the hourly Airport-Mountfichet and the hourly Mountfichet-Elsenham trains give a really, really long connection time (are they even perhaps at the station at the same time- essentially giving a 60 minute connection) and thus it throws a wobbly?

Have the train times changed on the Mountfitchet to Elsenham train?

I can handle a 60 min connection at Mountfitchet, the Queens Head is nearby.

There's half a dozen easements around Stansted and Bishops Stortford (60, 69, 92, 106, and two more that are irrelevant). None appears to apply here.

I'm going for the explanation that involves the long connection at SST gumming up the works.

Odder and odder- it's only a 21 minute connection, hardly system-breaking.

There seems to be plenty of anomalies when it comes to pricing tickets from Elsenham.

Elsenham to Stansted Airport CDR £2.60 change at Stansted Mountfitchet
Elsenham to Bishops Stortford CDR £3.10 the train stops at Stansted Mountfitchet.
Elsenham to Stansted Mountfitchet CDR £3.40 :roll:

.............also Elsenham to Bishops Stortford prices out at £3.10 via Newport (Essex), Audley End, Great Chesterford, Whittlesford Parkway or Shelford, the websites draw the line at going via Cambridge.
