Standard Stock DM at Epping.

Morning All.

I put a link to some London Underground pictures on my Flickr site yesterday with the first picture being an old Standard Stock Driving Motor standing on an isolated piece of track at Epping. ( http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=118179 )

Does anybody know what its doing there? I have also noticed that it appears to have a cab at each end; was this usual? I don't remember seeing any like that in the days when I used to commute in them, but that was on the Piccadilly Line.

I remember that being put in there during an episode of the "The Tube" programme that was on ITV and later repeated on Sky Travel/Sky Three as some staff had bought it and stuck it there
