SRPS: Roger Haynes RIP

I have just received the sad news that Roger Haynes - who for many years organised the excellent Scottish Railway Preservation Society rail tours - passed away suddenly at home on Friday 31st May at the age of 74. Many of us on here have had good reason to be grateful to Roger for his hard - and often frustrating - work in the past. I'm sure that we would all wish to send our deepest sympathy and condolences to his widow and family. Funeral details not yet known.

A very sad day indeed for the rail excursions market north of the border, albeit that, I believe he'd step back in recent times, but someone like him is deserving of all the recognition he gets
