Something Spokey

Well there i was sitting there at Widnes last night waiting for the 21.05 EMT Service back to Lime St.

I was a little board so what i did was write sevral fleet number on a peice of paper that i had in my pocket.

One of the fleet Numbers was 158806 and what should turn up at 21.03 158806 now if that is not spookey i don't know what is.

A simmler thing happened today when i returned from the post office at Widnes and the time was arround 1.30pm.

So there i was waiting for the 14.05 EMT Service to Liverpool and thinking to my self i wonder if it will be 158783 (ANNA) then at 14.02 what should turn up 158783.

Got to be something spookey about that twice in less thn 24hours ive predicted which unit it would be ?

That is defiantly strange.........
Whilst were on the subject a long time again I was waiting around at Water Orton just photting stuff and I took some unit shots anyway at WO you can't see the numbers unless you zoom into the shot you took
anyway apparently the last three 170's I had seen and took shots of before going home were in exact number sequence.
May be common I have no clue but was strange to me.

A simalar thing happened to me. I saw a refurb 158 (SWT) at Nottingham (on hire) going to Lime St. I thought: I'd love to go on that! But sadly I was going to Grantham on a Norwich train. So I get to Platform 1 and then the other SWT units pulls in

The human brain loves finding patterns in events or sequences that truly are random. How many times have you thought something about a train and it turned out not to happen? How often have you snapped a random sequence of trains?

It isn't spooky in the slightest.

Especially when you consider EMT's Liverpool-Norwich services are - I believe - all booked to be 158s and the company only have 25 to choose from (or 27 if you include the two loaned from SWT)

Well it may not be spooky to you guys but stuff like this keeps me entertained whilst im waiting for my train after uni and when your stuck at Derby station anything is entertaining.

Yes apologies for the spelling error in the title I thought I had amended it doesn't seem as though it had worked.

Anyway back on topic….

I was thinking the other day that I hadn't seen a certain Guard for a while on EMT who works the L-Pool-Norwich Route Regular and yet she turned up working the trip which I was getting on too, Now that’s got to be spooky !

Aslo a little off Topic (Sorry)

I predicted that Everton and Liverpool FC would be a draw in the derby match yesterday and yet it was too although I did get the score slightly wrong as i said it would be 2-2 and it was 1-1 but yet it was till a draw.

Now the replay a week on Wednesday i predict will be a draw too then go on to penalties for which Everton will win by one goal ahead.

I've had some instances like that,

Sometimes I go to london and hope to see the 66 I have always looked for, and then it turens up at Acton, or I think 'Drat, still need 165 xxx, might see it later' 5 mins later we overtake it in our HST!

If it's not that I get on a train or wonder weather to stay longer or wonder weather to get on a train, I get a random feeling to stay an extra 5 mins, usually by doing so I see my last train I've needed to see or something hellfire comes past!

One last instance I can think of is when I went to London last year, I went to Waterloo East to get to London Bridge, the idea being to wait for 376 007, my last one then for sight. I scored it early at Waterloo East, I had only just come down the ramp and there she was, 376 007! Needless to say I didn't need to wait at Bridge and had more time to do other things

John158, you should take up gambling if you're having these random correct visions!

It's not quite as 'spooky' as the case of a woman contacting BR back in 1982 or 83- having a vision of a train with the number '47216' crashing, and someone dying as a result. BR took an unusual step, and changed the number to 47299 as a result. A year later, in 1984, 47299 crashes into a DMU at Wrawby Jn- one girl, a passenger on the DMU died. Now that's a little spooky. It also suggests you can't really change fate.

I did it again yesterday wrote down several fleet numbers one of them was 158865 and yet it turned up on the 18.52 Liverpool - Nottingham also whilst awaiting the 20.05 at Widnes back to Liverpool i wrote several number down again at the top of the page i wrote ex TPE 158 and 1588xxx (DEVIL) turned up..Now that's spooky.
