No I don't think we should have a referendum on the result however maybe we should have a vote on the settlement or even potential settlements we could end up with.
There was never proper discussion on this in the referendum it was brushed aside by brexit, yes we can have access to the single market with no migration and no budget contribution to the EU. But I think sensible people realise that is unlikely no other country has that deal with the EU and its likely to be a trade off between level of migration /Number of Likely Job Losses/Size of EU Contribution and maybe we should vote on that.
That was the problem with a simple in/out vote. Presumably the strategic thinkers believed that was the only one they could have certainty of winning.
