Should the Bakerloop bus route be shown on Bakerloo in carriage maps?

The Bakerloop (BL1) express bus is a express bus down the Old Kent Road from Waterloo to Lewisham which will parallel the safeguarded Bakerloo line extension route.

Setting aside my scepticism that the bus is simply a kicking the can down the road on pushing back the actual BLE, I think that the bus should be featured on the Bakerloo in car route map, and perhaps even the tube map to keep the extension in the public conversation

It’s a handy link even without it being a pre BLE route, Old Kent Road is a growing inner London area and is somewhat a railway desert for an area so close to zone one, the nearest station to it is South Bermondsey and even I think this is a stretch.

I think it’ll keep the extension in the public eye, it’ll also put more of South London on the map and highlight new connections

No. It's a separate mode of transport with separate fares.

Perhaps it could be added to the interchange options at Waterloo and the Elephant (and maybe similar could be done with the Superloop network more broadly), though.

All this could change if the extension is ever approved.
