The 2024 stock is on the Bakerloo going to be identical to the Piccadilly apart from different colours of the grab poles and moquette.

The biggest issue for TfL is that a lot of things across the networks needs replacing or upgrading. They're planning to replace the CR4000s on the Tram network because they are coming to the end of their life span although the cost of the trams is far less than the 2024 stock since it won't be bespoke.

I would imagine the Central, Jubilee and Northern Line stock will be replaced around the same time either with a variant of the 2024 stock or something else. The 2009 stock is still in good nick but will likely get a midlife refurbishment although unlike older tube stock, I'm not sure what is needed to refurb apart from maybe LED signage, new moquette and LED lighting, same with the S stock although that needs a few cosmetic upgrades.

Doesn’t the 2009 stock already have LED signage? Do they need to be upgraded or just replaced?
