Should LNWR and Avanti merge into a single TOC?

There may be a case for merging LNWR with Avanti services to the West Midlands, Liverpool, north Wales and maybe Manchester.

Scotland to Manchester / Birmingham (via Wolverhampton) / London Euston could merge into a new Lakes Express (hypothetical name) TOC.

We would still have the same number of TOCs as at present.
