I'm currently doing a project for uni based on shopping habits in the Arndale and the Trafford Centre in Manchester. I've been in Man for the past two days carrying out some research to random people asking them about their shopping habits and how far they are willing to travel. Travel is a huge, huge factor in where people are willing to shop, hence why I've decided to post on here. I'm trying to collect research in many different ways (e.g. face-to-face, online, etc).
For those who live in Manchester, or near to Manchester, I would be extremely grateful if you could fill out this survey for me. You can either reply below, or if you wish to do it anonymously please feel free to message me privately.
1) What gender do you identify yourself as? (Male, female or rather not say)
2) What age category do you lie under? (Under 16, 16-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54, 55-64, 65+ or rather not say)
3) How far is the Arndale/Trafford Centre (cross out appropriate centre) from where you live? (0-2 miles, 3-5 miles, 6-8 miles, 9-11 miles, 12-14 miles, 15-17 miles or 18+ miles)
4) If the above is more than nine miles, why do you travel this far?
5) Where are you from?
6) How do you normally travel to the Arndale/Trafford Centre? (Car, bus, train, tram, walk, taxi or other)
7) Why do you decide to use this mode of transport?
8) Would you consider travelling by another mode of transport? If yes, what and why?
