On the advice of others on this forum I gave this app a try for an upgrade bid on Monday this week from Waverley to KX. Got the upgrade to First for just £12 and then made the most of it eating and drinking all I could for 4 hours on a nice shiny new Azuma train.

Simple to use, great value. Recommended.

Excellent! For the Silent Majority on RUK who don't have PRIV or an applicable Railcard it's a great way of saving money.

Seatfrog is a great app.
I’ve managed to use it both with and without priv and got some great deals on Virgin WC and GWR.

Very late to the party but how do you use Seatfrog with a priv card? Any info would be great. Novice here. Thank you

I would imagine it works in the same way - you would buy a standard class ticket with your priv discount applied and then bid on the upgrade to first on SeatFrog.

Yeah exactly that. If you have a standard class priv discounted tickety, you can bid as per normal on the app.
Beware though that some companies are now barring priv from using Seatfrog. Always check the latest restrictions on the RST website
