There could be implications, unlikely I agree however still possible, for the OP as his case with ScotRail has not yet been resolved.

They apologised for my experience, told me the guard would be disciplined by his manager and apologised again also mentioning that they wish that this experience hasn't stopped me from travelling with Scotrail in the future. Attached to it was a Rail Travel Voucher for the value of £150.
