A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the DTS B of set 320318, which should be numbered 77938, now carries (externally) 79938, although the label inside (above the gangway door) still shows the old number. And then today I noticed the same thing with 320304; 77924 is now numbered 79924 ! I have searched the internet in vain for a reason, anyone know what is going on ? Thanks in advance.

Probably just numbering errors, and they will still be 779**, there's a LNWR 350 (350101) carrying 98991, which is actually 66861......

The person who puts the number stickers on doesn't understand what they are for? Any old thing will do? 'Hey, I could do this with my eyes shut'? I wonder how it came to be that most of a number is inverted!
