Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupert_Bear) tells me that Rupert Bear has been around since 1920 and I assume that his friend Rastus is of a similar age. I do hope that Mr Bear did not try to buy a child ticket for Rastus as otherwise I can see the railway taking further action against Mr Mouse. In which case the story will have to go from the comic pages of the Express to the news:

Though given the appearance of the characters, is the strip set in a particular time when Rupert and Rastus may well be children, rather than the present day of publication?

With bears being naturally omnivores Rastas should be thankful that Mr Bear didn’t just eat him to compensate for there being no restaurant car.
