I don't know if anyone's noticed this but i've noticed any turbostars stabled within free roam tend to roll away themselves when you move to another set. I've pinned down all the brakes on the units and left the brake handle in emergency yet for some reason the buggers always keep running away.

Any idea's or suggestions welcome.

When the damn game worked for me my 158 & 166's did that. Never noticed it with the 170's though.

Strange thing is , none of the other rolling stock does that , just the 170's. Very odd.

Little update to my initial message. When i left a 171 at portsmouth harbour , i found most of it in the sea , yet the other day i lashed up a 12 car 170 and parked it on the hill outside queen street on the e&g route and they stayed put despite being on around a 1 in 40 (i think) downhill grade! Weird!

My problems were at Portsmouth Harbour as well. I left a 171 there (coupled to a 450) but it went nowhere.

I tried this last night and had 2 units (both 170s) on parallel roads on the hill out of Glasgow Queen Street station (which is fairly steep and leaving them without brakes to roll away allows them to pick up speed fairly rapidly)

On leaving the train (with no brake on) and going to another one, it stopped dead, only moving when it became "active" again so not sure whats causing the problem you guys are having. May have to try a different line and see if it replicates

Try the Portsmouth line if you have it. :)

Tried the Class 166 at Pompey Harbour and no problems there for me. Would try the 170/171 but I had problems editing a scenario and it just crashed - may try again sometime later
