Just something I saw on another forum - 313112 is a write-off after hitting a tree at Kensington Olympia yesterday. Driver and passengers unhurt.

heard at work today also , driver was doing 50-60mph at point of colision somewhere near kenny o, had to duck out the way + hit the deck, the tree entered the cab , and a sharp bit of tree went straight through the driving seat and into the wall behind, very lucky escape.

Good to hear no one was hurt.

Are 313s in heavy demand with Silverlink or are there units to spare?

I suppose the age of the units, plus the fact that they are up for withdrawal in the not too distant future, means that they are at the point where fairly minor damage isn't economic to repair, at least whilst they have enough to spair (I presume the cutting back of the NLL to Stratford has freed up at least one unit). Wonder if they will keep the other coaches though, since the other DM could come in handy if another unit suffers a collision. I'm sure they will get all the spairs they can though before anything is scrapped.
