Are there any plans to reintroduce a station at Wrea Green, just passed on the train and there's new housing, and I would have thought a new station with P+R would add passenger numbers? Thinking if the line ever became part of Blackpool Tramways then I'm sure a station/stop would be introduced?

I can see it happening with the tramway (as well as additional stops in the Lytham St Annes area too), but the current timetable, if it were to be a rail station, is too tight to allow an additional call - 5 min turnarounds at Blackpool South and the congested mainline east of Kirkham would mean the station would make the Blackpool South service very vulnerable to delays.

Moss Side station has low passenger numbers and could technically be replaced by Wrea Green, but the issue is that the level crossing would be have to be upgraded, as trains already have to stop to operate the level crossing I think.

Trams would terminate at Kirkham, and the line redoubled, or would trams carry on to Preston? Wouldn't have thought the latter unless they ran to the most westerly platform (0) used soley for trams?

Trams would terminate at Kirkham. The alignment is not wide enough for separate tram tracks. There's plenty of seat capacity onwards from Kirkham east (providing that Northern run their timetabled service pattern) and removing the shorter Blackpool South services east of Kirkham would mean even more capacity could be created if needed).
