As also noted in the First Glasgow thread, the Renfrew Ferry (Passenger) service has been discontinued with immediate effect due to the recent opening of the `Renfrew Swing Bridge’ 400 meters to the west.

Probably inevitable, really, not many ferries have continued to operate when a (new) bridge has been built close nearby.
