Only 2R47 the 16:23 London Marylebone to West Ruislip and 2R55 the 18:23 London Marylebone to West Ruislip seem to be all stops from London via Ruislip. There are no all-stop services to London via Ruislip. In my view, the low demand is partly due to the poor service of 1tph, stopping at most stations in the London area.
Can you see the Piccadilly and Central Lines?
Due to the close spacing of the stations in the London area, I doubt the stopper could be sped up by more than a minute or two. I thought it made the most sense to compare the current all-station stopper and fasts to find the shortest dynamic loop.
The shortest dynamic loop will be one that has a journey time delta between an overtaking and overtaken train of 2*headway, as a train must go from being headway in front to headway behind. In this instance, the headway is 3, so the dynamic loop must take 6 minutes longer for the stopping train than the fast train if it is to avoid any 'wasted' time. And, of course, the dynamic loop will need to start far enough back that the overtaken train can diverge without penalising the overtaking train, and join in far enough along that the overtaken train is up to a decent speed so it can slot in without penalising a 2nd train coming up behind it.

It won’t be all of them because it’s only a two platform station in the proposals. I’m curious if anyone thinks there’s room for more on the west side of Old Oak Common Lane. But it leaves us wondering what passengers could possibly use this interchange, as you’ve assigned the slower trains to use the West Hampstead or Neasden station and also the other branch. It depends what part of all this you like imagining.

They chose new trains and signalling. It was the right decision.

It’s a shame the fast trains don’t stop, that would serve me well. But I just pay normal prices, so don’t consider me.
How long will the platforms be? Would it be possible to run 2 trains from the same platform?

The Piccadilly line through Sudbury has plenty of capacity - it’s not like the hordes of Sudbury aren’t choosing Chiltern or the tube, they just don’t especially exist. As for Northolt, the Central line is far more useful.

There is no excess congestion or demand to resolve in that area really. And most Chiltern trains stopping there are extremely short too.
IIUC, the Piccadilly Line, serving South Harrow, Sudbury Hill and Sudbury Town has a regular 6-7 tph
The Central Line, serving West Ruislip, Ruislip Gardens, South Ruislip and Northolt has 9tph most of the day.
Turn up and go.

Exactly, it's plenty and they offer a different set of destinations (classic West End vs access to Heathrow, all the Chiswick and Hammersmith jobs) - and the Central line could comfortably send more trains up the West Ruislip route since Crossrail now dominates Ealing. Indeed, there was talk of an Uxbridge service via the depot line. Or of a District swap for the Picc route.

Thought this was interesting but I've stumbled across some photos on eBay of Sudbury Hill Harrow in its original state , Loops , Platform buildings and signal box included.

You could have said the same about London Fields and Cambridge Heath vs Bethnal Green Central Line. But since they moved to a decent all-day service ( from weekday rush hours only) a healthy trafiic has built up going OUT of London.

The Piccadilly is subject to all sorts of suspensions and cuts - down to 4 an hour sometimes.

Interesting - can you identify what the key destinations are? And are there equivalents on Chiltern that would offer potential?
