Redcar Central

I've used the search facility but there don't seem to be any recent updates regarding the new Redcar Central building on the Manchester/Saltburn platform side. I called by there yesterday about 17:00, just to see how it's getting on and whether it's open yet, and although it looks to be pretty much finished, even down to an "automatic doors" sign on the entrance, there were no signs of life.

Does anyone know whether it is now open, and if not then when it will be?

I was told that they are expecting some tenants this month.

Oh goodness, not a Greggs then? I'm not sure railway stations are the right place for fancy shops, most people just want a ticket counter and some toilets, and maybe somewhere to buy a sandwich and bottle of water, or better still to refill their own bottle.
