Sorry....I haven't lived in Scotland since 1983 and since then have rarely drunk whisky (....or indeed whiskey) in pubs, except for tutored tasting sessions, when smaller glasses are usually used. Like @duncanp , I prefer to sample the golden nectar at home, where I can decide on my own measures!
