Railway Walks

Bit late but there was no advanced publicity that I saw. On BBC2 tonight at 8 o'clock was Julia Bradbury presenting a new series on disused rail lines. Catch it on I player.

I got the gen bellowed up the stairs but I assumed it was the old series. Oh well, never mind.

Didn't enjoy the last ones much, they dragged on so much I used them as something to make me drowsy!

Was pretty a pretty interesting programme to be fair, they gave alot of knowledge about the history of the route and the Midland Railway which was quite interesting.

I hope there are more planned - a series documenting the lost railways of Cumbria alone would be fantastic!

They announced it as a "New Series"; and in BBC2 terms it is, however, it was shown last year on BBC3 or BBC4 - can't remember which.
