I hold a paid RailMiles travel subscription giving me access to all features and I have a question: when entering a journey involving a change of trains, for example Gipsy Hill to Denmark Hill changing at Peckham Rye, how do I input this? I currently input the separate legs as two separate journeys (leg A GIP-PMR, leg B PMR-DMH) in the, “my journeys” section, but I was wondering if there was a more straightforward way of doing this. Can I input one journey in one go, using the via points (eg. Via Peckham Rye in this case) to specify the route taken? Was not able to do so, but this is probably due to my own error…

RailMiles acts as a log of the trains you've taken, meaning each train has to be inputted separately.

You'll also find that for splitting or joining services, typically when you're not the "lead" service, you'll also have to split these in two bits as well.

It all relies on the technical details behind how electronic timetable data is provided. For splits/joins, one train will act as the "main" service, and the other will be an "associated" service, either starting or ending at the location of the split/join.
