Hello all,

Thought I'd give a mention of the new "Rail TV" website. It is a new on-demand service by Aggregator TV where they are offering railway videos for as little as £1.75. They also have an offer available at the present time where if you sign up before 22nd April you get £5 added on to your balance free of charge, which could buy a couple of videos in itself! The library is quite big with pages of videos listed, some of the titles are familiar having been prevously sold in book and video shops. The catalogue includes British, European and other foreign steam and diesel locomotives to journeys by train, looks at depots from behind the scenes and even some modelling videos.

You can check the site out at http://www.railtv.tv - just registered myself and that was simple enough to do.

Sounds tempting, but the railway channel so far is all good for me. Since releasing their videos now as a freeview :D

The site loaded and then "We’ve detected that your browser version or operating system is not currently supported" appeared over the top. :|

I'd say that's because the DRM they use only works in Internet Explorer.... which :. it's MS DRM which doesn't work.

I can assure you that they are currently working to fix this problem for those using a browser such as Firefox/Opera and/or a Mac/Linux operating system. As Tom said, Internet Explorer on Windows works fine.

Yeah same problem here as I use FireFox, but i find it ironic that when it asks for you to state what browser you use Firefox is a listed option already surley that means they know abou it...

Yes, and you're putting in details so that they can email you when the problem is fixed -- what are you trying to say Nathan?

You would have thought that if they'd put it as an option therefore they know about it and would be able to fix it ;)

On another note - IM COMING UP TO 444 POSTS
