Question RE Megabus

Seeing as their website isnt actually clear on this - do the coaches have plug sockets on board ?

Using the M12 from London to Leeds and back on Saturday and since i have an iPhone, which are absolutely awful for their battery, i was wondering if id be able to charge it up.

The double deck coaches do and a lot of the single deck coaches do although I know one or two of the older vehicles used on megabus duties do not.

I would say you have a 90-95% chance of getting a vehicle which is fitted with power sockets

I agree with Anthony. It's a bit hit and miss with sockets on their services.

I had neither sockets or wifi on my last trips (60 Plate and 09 plate Panthers)

Hit and miss on the M12 as a fair few service still use the panthers as an aside is regular on the Armstrongas for the power socket fuse to trip so the power points do not work anyway.

No plug sockets on the two-axle Panthers in my experience. Oftentimes vehicles that do have sockets (like X5 Panthers) don't have power switched on or working so don't rely on it.

Wifi generally works but has been known to lose itself in rural areas.
