Question about london travelcard

As some of you are aware i am going to london on 27/28th january. i have bought a travelcard for zones 1-5, but i am planning to travel by train from Paddington to ealing broadway, probably on a heathrow connect class 360 emu as i have yet to have a go on one, am i allowed to do this as it is a mainline service?

I ahve looked on the TFL website and havent found anything that say that you cant part from you cant use travelcards on heathrow express & heathrow connect services between hayes & heathrow

Yes, if its a Travelcard, you can use it on any rail or tube services in your zones (except Heathrow Express/Heathrow Connect from Hayes & Harlington to Heathrow), or on buses or trams in any zone.

Note that the above does not apply to Oyster Pay As You Go, even if price capped.
