They want to do Seaton - Luffenham. See

Thanks for the link. Again, perhaps I'm being naive: but this group's plan as per same, strikes me as hugely ambitious, and envisageably involving a vast amount of work and financial expense -- to the point of one's wondering whether they are in touch with reality. Their "mission statement" mentions, "can't turn right at Manton junction": with the rail layout which there now is, that's true; but instead, they see putting in a new curve, running down from a far greater height, to the valley bottom: to join with the abandoned -- which they see reviving -- route between Seaton and Luffenham -- including totally new-routeing on some of that stretch. Is this really more easily do-able; than putting in a new south-to-east curve close by Manton; or even -- having trains reverse direction at Manton (for accomplishing that, no need to reopen Manton station for passengers): is there such an intensive service between Leicester and Peterborough, that that could not be done re the new workings Kettering -- Peterborough and beyond?
Re the above: I'm likely out of touch with modern railway realities; but the scheme as set out in the linked item, irresistibly suggests to me the saying from the Germans (of all unlikely people): "why do it simply, when it's possible to make it so beautifully complicated?".
