I actually have some :
- Stockbridge - Hadfield Tram Train via the top of Woodhead pass
- Yorkshire Metro, a Metro-style service operating with an EMU at least every 15 minutes all day everyday service between
M1 = York - Halifax all stop Via Leeds Main Station with a new station at Bowling park avoiding the need to reverse at Bradford ITC
M2 = Sheffield - Leeds via Barnsley all stop but Castleford
M3 = York - Sheffield via Rotherham and Potefact all stop
M4 = Halifax - Sheffield via Huddersfield all stop
M5 = Hull - Huddersfield via Leeds Cross city tunnel and Selby all stop
M6 = Existing Bradford Foster Square Train extended to Knotingley via Cross City Tunnel
M7 = Existing Skipton Train extended to Goole via Cross City tunnel
M8 = Existing Iikley Train
M9 = Sheffield - Leeds Fast to Swinton then all to Leeds via Doncaster
AX = Leeds - Doncaster Sheffield Airport calling at Wakefield Westgate, Doncaster and DSA only
- Upgraded 150 MPH running on the Great Western Main Line between London and Exeter
- Reopening of Great Central Mainline as a freight route between north and south avoiding WCML

Revive the MerseyTram project to finally reconnect the east of the city properly. Good public transport access to Anfield, don't forget a much needed tram or metro like service to the Airport.
(Also I'd personally pick the Mather avenue option for line 3 mainly because it'd benefit me :D)

Not seen this before! Mather Ave looks great for a tram as a dual carriageway with green median and passing some parks. Would look beautiful, and if done by taking away two lanes of traffic would make into an excellent pedestrian/cycling route

That's an impressively extensive map that I would be glad to see. Merseyrail is a great network but it doesn't cover all of the city, and in a city of Liverpool's population a light rail tram line would be ideal compared to heavy rail systems like a metro. Such a shame that it probably won't come to fruition (good luck building a tram line on the East Lancs). While we're at it though it'd also be nice to see the return of the Liverpool Overhead Railway but modernised with new infrastructure and rolling stock, but that too probably won't ever happen. Still, it's nice to think about the what ifs.

The great West Yorkshire UltraCrayonista metro system
Think the airport needs a direct connection to the centre, or at least an interchange with the Harrogate line.

Also you forgot to put Armley back on the rail/metro map
