Process changes with South Eastern Railway prosecutions?

Hi

I got a MG 11 issued by South Eastern Railway on 10th sep 25.

The letter requesting for mitigating circumstances received on 30th sep.

I responded back on 1st Oct

Since then I am continuously chasing

Few days ago I received an email saying they are some process changes going on and they will take multiple months!

Does anyone know of the recent timelines and what are these process changes actually

They only have another two months to serve papers to court to prosecute you, so any delay can only be to your advantage if it slips past that date.

I would assume this is part of the issues raised by the courts and the ORR, such as the use of lay prosecutors in court where this may not be permitted.

It may be the case that all prosecutions are on hold at Southeastern, and depending on the delay, your case may become too late to prosecute for (papers must be laid to the court within 6 months of the offence, so add a couple of weeks to that deadline for you to also receive notice).

You don't need to do anything more; they have your contact details and will send you emails or letters if they plan to proceed with your case.
