You’ve missed the boat on that one I’m afraid, the last new carriages for the Pendolino lengthening project were delivered just a week or so ago. There will be no more of these movements. And the pendo stock is pretty good looking as stock, I'd love to see one of these movements, how often do they happen?
As well as single power cars moving light engine with just a barrier vehicle for company, singular HST power cars have on occasion gone for a walk completely on their own. I saw 43080 running like this after it had been released from a repaint at Craigentinny and was heading south to Neville Hill. I presume the fact that it is fitted with standard buffers and coupling hook at one end negated the need for a barrier vehicle in case of failure.Powercars have been moved around under power towing a barrier vehicle only from time to time - and FGW occasionally send them out in pairs to rescue failed trains.

and infamously a single HST power car once ran a short distance on the Newquay branch with passengers on board!
 that's a shame, I will have to stick to trying to catch a HST LE movement.
Baby-Pendolinos are built
Baby 390s would almost certainly arrive in a complete formation rather than split up which is really what the OP is looking for.
