Please help!! BVE on Vista

Hiya,

I have Win Vista and am trying to download BVE 2 but error has come up saying no Direct 3d

Also, BVE 4 is crashing on opening

Can someone please help me

Have you read the sticky on getting it to work on Vista?


Psersonally, I suggest you try openbve which has no issues with Vista.

This has been done to death a million times. BVE4.does.not.work.on.Vista. (without modification, and even then it still didn't work for me after I applied the fixes.)

As 'bonwick suggested, look at teh sticky!!!1

BVE4 works fine on my computer, which is Vista Home Basic. Granted, I had to google "BVE4 Vista" first.

Yes, BVE4 works fine in Vista provided the guide in the sticky is followed correctly.
